Resumo

El feminismo británico negro se consolida a finales de los años 80 y está directamente vinculado a la lucha activista de mujeres inmigrantes, así como a la creación de grupos de escritura creativa. Este artículo traza una breve genealogía de escritoras británicas negras y asiáticas que utilizaron su voz para inscribir sus experiencias y reivindicar la necesidad de examinar las intersecciones entre las categorías de raza y género.

Irene Pérez Fernández, Universidad de Oviedo - España

Profesora Contratada Doctora en el Departamento de Filología Inglesa, Francesa y Alemana de la Universidad de Oviedo (doctorado con Mención Europea dentro del Programa "Estudios de la Mujer"). Su actividad investigadora se centra en el análisis de cuestiones de género, espacio e identidad en la Literatura Inglesa Contemporánea, especialmente en autoras británico-caribeñas y británico-asiáticas.
