Abstract

Propaganda Fide Missions play in XIX century, an important role in development of Bolivia.

This paper aims to analyse their settlement, growth and expansion, and the problems that it takes; how the Government makes use of them as it' s suitable for its own interest.

We also pay atention on ethnographics aspects and, of course, on the great contradiction, in which the process takes place
